Dandy Don is interviewing the top juniors from the state of Louisiana. This is what he said about Dillon Day:
In high school news, Monday afternoon I interviewed offensive lineman Dillon Day (6'4", 252) from West Monroe. Dillon has a 2.3 GPA and is waiting the score of his ACT taken on February 07. Day is hearing from major colleges nationwide including LSU, GA, Alabama, UCLA and all in-state schools. Day would like to take official visits to LSU, Alabama, Florida, Georgia and Tennessee. Day made All-District and Honorable All-State in 2008 and would like to lead his team to a return trip to the Superdome and bring back the class 5-A title to West Monroe. Day's other goals for the 2009 season are to improve his time in the forty, to get bigger and stronger and to make first team All-State. Day was invited to the US Army Junior Combine in January and did very well. The Army Junior Combine features the top 500 juniors in the nation. Day was not able to attend LSU's Junior Day on January 21 but is planning on attending the February 28 Junior Day event. Day is a very polite and well spoken young man and is also very good football player. I saw the STM and West Monroe game and Day was outstanding.
